Mission

Clothing Closet

Our free clothes closet is open twice a month.  We are open the second Tuesday and the fourth

Thursday January through September.
 We are open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Our clothes closet is in the metal building behind the church.

We operate on donations from the congregation and the community.  We have all styles and sizes of clothing from newborn to XXXL and sometimes bigger.  We have clothes, shoes, toys, and sometime household items and misc.

If you need it, you are welcome to take it.  We operate on a seasonal basis – spring and summer – fall and winter.  We are here to help.

Food Pantry

Mission
The food pantry at Wesley helps provide for those in need in our community. Each person receives a canvas bag filled with healthy and hearty non-perishable groceries – enough to feed a small family for a few days. Included in the bag is information about our church, a Book of Bible Promises, and a hand written note of encouragement. The food pantry receives donations of non-perishable food items from all church members, and Wesley UMW also contributes funds. It is Wesley’s way of saying “we love you” to all who are in need.
Mission Trips
We sent a Mission Team to Henderson Settlement in Kentucky for a week long mission project.  This was a  great week of growing together and making a difference outside of our own community.
We sent a group of youth to Oklahoma City for a week long mission trip. If you are interesting in going or supporting future missions, contact Zach Foster on our staff page.
Mission Focus
We are excited to partner with so many mission and non profits we started to engage with!   We believe we should be an active part of the community around us.
Legacy Parenting, Family Promise, Circle of Care, Community Market, Community Classroom Sponsors, Community Renewal, Project Safe, and One Safe Family/Family Justice Center, The Salvation Army Angel Tree are just some of the local agencies we are involved with.
